Student MVP field test

What if every fishing catch could be proven, ranked, and competed with?

TrueCatch is testing a simple idea: fishermen should be able to prove great catches, compare results fairly, and join fishing challenges without waiting for a tournament.

Five problems are on the tackle wall. The survey decides which one TrueCatch should solve first.

Fake catches Hard-to-join competitions Missing leaderboards Personal best proof Angler community

Fishing stories are fun. Fishing rankings need proof.

People can exaggerate a catch, reuse an old photo, or compare results that were never measured the same way. That makes friendly competition less fair and official competition harder to trust.

Start with the simplest version of verified competition.

The early TrueCatch concept is an app-first experience where anglers submit catches with photo, time, location, and catch details. The future version could add a smart glove for stronger verification.

Rarest Fish Species

Competitions could have multiple boards: heaviest catch, longest fish, rarest species, and most catches in a weekend.
